Treatment
RMW – Sharps/Bio Pick Up and Treatment
All Sharps and biological waste typically referred to as “Red bag” waste collected by HealthWise’s fully trained and professional service techs is delivered to our state of the art Treatment facility located in Fowler, California or to one of our trusted partners in Southern and Northern California. upon delivery the waste is weighed, recorded and treated using Autoclave technology. Upon treatment the waste is then delivered to a local permitted landfill.
Incineration – Pharmaceutical, Trace Chemo and Pathological Pick Up and Destruction
California’s Department of Public Health requires that Pharmaceutical (White and Blue Container), Trace Chemo (Yellow Container) and Pathological (Gray Container) wastes by destroyed by “High Heat” or Incineration. HealthWise complies with this requirement by working with permitted destruction facilities in New Mexico, Texas and Florida.
RCRA – Hazardous Pharmaceutical and Universal Waste
California’s Environmental Protection Agency requires that any pharmaceutical exhibiting hazardous characteristics must be containerized and disposed of separately. HealthWise has the experience and expertise in helping our customers understand comply with the State’s rigid Hazardous Waste Regulations. HealthWise can provide on site Audits, Training, Segregation, Packaging, Transportation, Disposal and Manifesting to insure your compliance with all local, state and federal mandates.

Kiosks Systems for Private & Public Use
HealthWise provides secure and convenient Sharps and Expired Pharmaceutical Kiosks to various pharmacies, medical facilities, and local City and County agencies in the State. HealthWise will purchase, install and will provide all collection and maintenance activities.
